1995年東京都生まれ。慶應義塾大学SFC卒業、多摩美術大学大学院修士課程メディア芸術プログラム修了。テクノロジカルに加速する資本主義社会において変容する、自-他の境界、人間-非人間の境界への関心のもと、「私」でなくなっていく、「人間」でなくなっていく肉体についての実践を行う。主な作品に、人間そのものが商品化される架空の”存在代行”サービス《Uber Existence》、眼を移動させることで人間の身体規範を逸脱していく《still human》など。主な受賞に、第25回文化庁メディア芸術祭アート部門 新人賞、CAF賞2022 優秀賞など。
Shin Hanagata
Born in Tokyo in 1995. Graduated from Keio University SFC, and completed the master's program in Media Arts at Tama Art University. With an interest in the boundary between self and others and between human and non-human, which is changing in a technologically accelerated capitalist society, he has been practicing a body that is becoming less "I" and less "human". Major works include "Uber Existence," an imaginary "substitute existence" service in which the human being itself is commodified, and "still human," which deviates from the human body norm by moving the eyes. Major awards include the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival, Art Division, New Artist Award, and CAF Award 2022, Excellence Award.
