Talion Gallery was founded in Yanaka, Tokyo, in 2011 and relocated to Mejiro, Tokyo, in 2014. The gallery’s curatorial essence centers on criticism of historical developments in the art world, the boundaries between art and cultural movements in the present day, and how art interacts with social change. Talion Gallery manages artists across a range of generations who share an awareness of social issues, promoting their works inside and outside Japan. Represented artists include Keisuke Koizumi, Mariko Tomomasa, Takuma Ishikawa, Sayuri Miyashita, Hiroyuki Nisougi, Takuya Yamashita, Momoko Jennifer Iida, and Eri Takayanagi.
