With the theme of the changeability of cloth, he produces works by distorting dyed cloth when decorating it to fit the space and transforming it into unique shapes. He pursues the fascination of fabric being dyed and the new possibilities of cloth as a material through his unique interpretation of ancient Japanese dyeing techniques and dyeing process. Born and lives in Tokyo. Currently enrolled in the Master’s Course in Dyeing and Weaving in the Department of Crafts at Tokyo University of the Arts.
