Born in 1981in Taipei, Taiwan, she earned an MFA from the Taipei University of the Arts, Taiwan Institute of Arts and Technology in 2010. Lin’s art practice focuses on the
processes of video and photography and reflects the relationship and potential of time and memory through video manipulation and production. Since her 2004 exhibitions in
Taipei, “Media Cramp” and “Co4 Taiwan Avant-garde Document II”, she has held exhibitions in Beijing, Hong Kong, Paris, Fukuoka, and the United States. She won the Taipei Art Award in 2008. In the same year, she held her major solo exhibition, “Silence Attacks” at MoCA Taipei.
