Born in China. Based in Tokyo, Jamie’s practice is tied to the aesthetics of nature, influenced by Eastern philosophy. Her most recent work focuses on a combination of photography, video, performance, and installation. This is to explore beneath the human space of things by simplifying and abstracting the “human limitations” as her conceptual basis.Her project aims to establish an exchange between the viewer and the larger universe around him, using a site-specific approach to culture.
