Born in 1982. Completed the Master’s Program in Fine Arts at Tokyo Zokei University in 2010. While inheriting conceptualism that explores the relationship between language and art—situated between realism and post-linguistic-turn anti-realism—he focuses on the meanings of objects and concepts as they appear in diverse contexts. His practice centers on the ontology of art, aesthetic objects, and other entities. In this exhibition, he seeks to ontologically reconsider the aesthetic truths that have historically underpinned the conception of aesthetics.
