Founded in 1993. Gallery Trax is located in Hokuto city, Yamanashi prefecture where surrounded by beautiful scenery of rice field, mountains and wide sky. They closely work with both domestic and international artists and deal with any type of art including painting, sculpture, photography, video works, graffiti and performance. To name a few, Jun Tsunoda, Tomoo Gokita, Ayako Rokkaku, Kyoji Takahashi, and Rinko Kawauchi. Regularly exhibiting the same artists’ works since their early carrier, the circle of artists around the gallery has ever been expanding organically and it became kind of a hub for independent art community in Japan.
