デカメロン
2020年、新宿・歌舞伎町の中心地に開廊。1348年からヨーロッパで猛威を振るったペストの様子を克明に綴ったボッカッチョによる物語集『デカメロン』を店名に冠した。2階には展示スペースが設けられ、1階のコミュニティースペースでは展覧会鑑賞前後の交流場としての機能を果たす。21年4月にはギャラリースペースの増床を行い、若手作家を中心に展覧会を実施している。

In 2020, “Decameron” opened in Kabukicho, in the heart of the Shinjuku district. The gallery is named after Boccaccio’s novel collection “The Decameron,” which vividly describes the plague that raged in Europe from 1348. A community space on the first floor of the building serves as a place for socializing before and after viewing the exhibitions. In April 2021, the gallery space was expanded to host exhibitions by young artists.
