Yukiko Yamasaki

1988 Born in Kyoto. Lives and works in Tokyo. Born between the analog and digital native eras, the artist is of the generation that has experienced the evolution of all manner of digital gadgets—flip phones, smartphones, low-spec PCs, MacBooks, and more—and the associated changes in speed of information gathering. He presents works created through the technique of collecting images of interest on social media and the Internet day by day, working them into digitally collages, and re-editing them into paintings.
