Born in 1982, Canada and is an active female artist based in New York. Her life-giving intricate pencil drawings are based on motifs of cigarette butts, ashes, trash on the streets, insects, and rats, one of the symbols of New City. These works are based on her childhood and personal experiences in her life in New York expressed through drawings and collages. While one can sense a kind of obsessive madness in her work, it can also be seen as a form of aesthetic love that gives new life to things that have been used up and are about to end.
