Muyeong Kim

Muyeong Kim (b.1995, South Korea) currently lives and works in Seoul. Kim holds a B.F.A. from Korea National University of Arts (2020). In 2017, he joined the exchange program of Malmö Art Academy. In spring semester 2022, Kim went to Frankfurt to attend the guest study at Städelschule. His first solo exhibition, <House On Glabella>, took place at Museumhead, Seoul (2021). His piece has been involved in group shows at <Axe and dummy heads>, Insa Art Space (Seoul, 2020), <I told you I was no good. Bitch, are you sure to make me cry?>, Gallery 175 (Seoul, 2021), and a forthcoming duo show with Julia Sjölin at N/A Gallery (Seoul, 2023). In 2021, Art Council of Korea included his early portfolio in its archive. His writing has been presented at Medium P (Berlin, 2022), White Noise (as a part of Yonsok Yi’s Solo exhibition, Seoul, 2022), Aber Press (Malmö, 2021), published online at PACK (Seoul, 2022), abs (Seoul, 2021).
