2016年、ヘア・ヘッドプロップ・ウィッグアーティストの河野富広、フォトグラファー・ビジュアルアーティストの丸山サヤカによるクリエイティブ・プラットフォームとして、ニューヨーク・ブルックリンで設立。2020年より東京を拠点に活動。アートディレクション・ヴィジュアルデザインで国内外のブランドや百貨店などとコラボすると同時に、不定期でポップアップイベント・エキシビションなどを手がけて作品を展示販売などを行う。ワールドワイドにアーティストのコミュニティを広げていくことを目指している。konomad editionsは自身の出版社名。

Founded in Brooklyn, NY in 2016, and currently based in Tokyo since 2020, konomad is an artist-run platform, consisting of hair & head props, wig artist Tomihiro Kono and photographer / visual artist Sayaka Maruyama. konomad works with brands from across the globe with their eccentric art direction and visual design while curating pop-up events and exhibitions, striving to create a global artist community. konomad also operates as an independent publisher under the name “konomad editions.”
