NANZUKA
2005 年、NANZUKA UNDERGROUND の名で東京渋谷に設立。デザイン、
イラスト、ストリートカルチャー、ファッション、ミュージックなど、アート
の周辺分野における創造性をアカデミックに扱う実験的な企画ギャラリーとし
て活動。同時に、田名網敬一、空山基、山口はるみ、佐伯俊男といった、戦後
日本のアートシーンの外で評価されてきた才能を再発掘し、国際的な現代アー
トの舞台での紹介に努めている。一方で、多くの国際的なギャラリーと協力し、
佃弘樹、三嶋章義、大平龍一、谷口真人、モリマサト、ハロシといった国内の
若手及び中堅作家の育成と紹介を行うと同時に、選り抜きの世界的アーティス
トと協力してグローバルなアートシーンの現在を体現している。
NANZUKA
NANZUKA is a contemporary art gallery founded in 2005 in Shibuya,
Tokyo, as an experimental art gallery dedicated to redefining the
creativities in design, illustration, street culture, fashion, music and etc.
as academic subjects, while rediscovering the artists who have been
evaluated outside of the fine art scene after the World War II, such as
Keiichi Tanaami, Hajime Sorayama, Harumi Yamaguchi and Toshio Saeki.
Besides, collaborating with many international galleries to support
emerging Japanese artists in the international art scene, including Hiroki
Tsukuda, Akiyoshi Mishima, Ryuichi Ohira, Makoto Taniguchi, Masato
Mori and Haroshi. Simultaneously, the gallery works with international
artists who represent the global contemporary art scene.
