Robbie Stinchcomb is a 3D concept designer exploring innovation and body-centric design across industrial products, speculative objects, wearable sculpture, and contemporary art. With a foundation in footwear design, he has expanded into sculpture, furniture, and prosthetics, merging cultural critique with experimental form.
From 2019 to 2023, Stinchcomb worked at Adidas Advanced Concepts, creating footwear for Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (Academy Award for Best Costume Design, 2023), Y-3 collections for Yohji Yamamoto’s Paris shows, and performance designs for NBA and Olympic athletes.
Since 2023, he has served as Lead Designer at MSCHF, where he challenges design conventions through provocative projects. His work has been exhibited internationally: Nothing is Sacred at Daelim, Seoul (2023); Art 2, Los Angeles (2024); metal sculptures at Nanzuka, Tokyo (2025); and furniture for AMG × MSCHF, Brooklyn (2025). His GSCT project appeared at New York Fashion Week, alongside designs ranging from backward and twisted footwear to apparel, handbags, furniture, and rollercoasters.
His speculative work includes functional prosthetics for animals, sculpture at the Museum of Sex, New York, and fashion concepts archived on the Moon in the Arch Lunar Library. As an educator and speaker, he has taught 3D jewelry design, lectured at the Fashion Institute of Technology, and presented at AWE, Sneaker Week, and other forums. He is a Gravity Sketch Certified Expert and a recipient of the Two Ten Footwear Foundation Scholarship.
